Delegate from the UK Caught Researching on Nuclear Weapons

In the seventh session of the UNSC, the delegates addressed the Kashmir dispute and all surrounding and intervening factors to the issue. Whereas many parties share the opinion that human rights are being violated, the right of self determination according to the UN Charter Article 2 provides a possible answer to this conflict. Nevertheless many members often and still continue to refer to the past instead of contributing to an actual solution. 

However, in order to prevent a drastic escalation of the conflict and because all parties involved possess nuclear power, the UNSC rapidly concludes that their resolution must include a non-nuclear agreement clause. While all parties seem to agree on this point, the UK delegation is nevertheless researching its nuclear weapons. It now remains unclear what can be expected from the remainder of the UNSC’s meeting…
