A Clever Attempt to Structure the Debate

The G20 states are approaching the improvement of sustainable resource mobilisation in a well-structured manner. On Saturday morning their resolution on the topic of the Restoration of International Supply Chains to guarantee Food Security failed because the Russian Federation vetoed it. Seemingly willing to tackle the new topic more efficiently, they are currently discussing the issue of sustainable resource mobilisation in split groups. One half of the delegates is working on the technical aspects of energy generation and the development of critical infrastructure in LDCs (Least Developed Countries), while the others are trying to figure out ways of creating lasting funds.

Nevertheless, the delegates´ points of view can be and are wildly differing. A circumstance, that is hardly surprising taking into consideration that the present delegates intend to remain loyal to the interests and values of the nations that they are representing. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the outcome of this debate will be more fruitful than the previous one or will die out, leaving only the ash of a fiery debate.
