Editorial: NATO Sends Condoms to Prague to Stop the Spread of Communism
Millions of Czechoslovakian civilians found a welcome break from the socialist oppression in their country when they were gifted millions of condoms, first aid kits, and medicine by NATO. Greek yogurt, chocolate, Coca Cola, bananas, and other items common in the West but unknown to people suffering in communist regimes were also sent to the nation. NATO also sent NATO merch, including T-shirts, still unknown to most socialists, and vinyls with factual information about communism. In a press conference, NATO officials stated that the condoms were sent with the intention to stop the spread of communism by stopping communists from reproducing. The logistical details of the operation are classified, but NATO officials ensured that there was no breach of Warsaw Pact airspace.
