China Daily - China calls for the elimination of all root causes of radical islamist ideology, whether in Afghanistan, USA or China
Today the Security Council held a press conference inviting reporters from all over the world to get answers regarding the work they’re doing in the post 9/11 era. No one will be surprised to hear that the USA does not answer to the consequences of their actions, and the China Daily reporter was not surprised when the USA delegate did not try to answer a simple question at the press conference. On the other side, China was successful in delivering their stance on the post 9/11 actions that should be taken.
The China Daily reporter asked the delegate of the USA how they justify their will to invade a foreign country with no real basis to it, and how is this invasion different from a civilian annihilation attempt? Of course this invasion is referring to the USA’ stated intention to enter with military force into Afghanistan where civilians and innocents live.
Not surprisingly, the USA refused to answer, and by doing that they made it clear to the world that they believe that they are above humanitarian law. This reporter even asked for the delegate’s credentails.
On a happier note, China has saved the press conference event. The delegate of China thanked this reporter for the commendable newspaper and encouraged everyone to read the inspiring information and news that it covers. When this reporter asked “What is your country’s priority when dealing with the consequences of 9/11?“ the room went quiet. Not a single country wanted to answer the question BUT China. The delegate of China boldly raised their placard and gave not 1, not 2 but 3 priorities. They are as follows:
The first priority is to make sure the region surrounding Afghanistan is stabilised as to not have a spill-over of terrorism to neighbouring regions.
The second priority is to make sure root causes of terrorism are eradicated so an event like this won‘t happen again in the future in any country, not even in the USA.
The third priority is to respect the sovereignty of the nations and respect their territory – something that the USA is definitely not doing with their so-called “democracy“.
Overall, the press conference was an interesting event that brought to light a lot of the countries real hidden agendas – the good and the evil.
