Meet the Secretariat

Secretary General

Dorka Krnacs

Hello everyone, My name is Dorka, your enthusiastic Secretary-General for the highly anticipated comeback edition of SGMUN in 2024! I am a 22-year-old bachelor’s student at the University of St. Gallen with Hungarian origins and a Swiss-infused lifestyle. My passion for MUN has been enlightened since 2021 and is still burning bright. Other passions from my side would include dancing, learning new languages and skills, and spending time with my friends. Important note: If you want to be on my good side and impress me, you just need to buy me some delicious food.

I am looking forward to welcoming all of you to this exciting event. See you in December!

Deputy Secretary General

Egan Paquay

Grüezi, moien and bonjour everyone!

My name is Egan Paquay, I am 24 years old and I will be the Deputy Secretary-General for SGMUN 2024. Born in Belgium and growing up in Luxembourg, I know how important multiculturalism and diversity can be. I now pursue a double master's in accounting/finance and international management at the University of St. Gallen after having completed my bachelor there last year. My hobbies include fast-food critique, playing the bass, learning new languages, collecting ties and vinyls, and engaging myself in student representation. I hope to see you all, whether you are newcomers, friends, or something in between, in snowy and Christmassy St. Gallen come December 2024!

USG of Academics & Chairs

Nazan ElHadidi

Hello everyone!

My name is Nazan and I hail from sunny Egypt. I study Politics and Public Administration at the University Konstanz, not too far away from St. Gallen. Ever since immersing myself in the European circuit of MUNs last year, it has been a goal of mine to attend a prestigious SGMUN. I now have the incredible honor of leading the academics team for this year’s revival, making sure St. Gallen’s reputation for excellent academics remains undisputed. I am a travel maniac and have a passion for exploring new cultures; perfect ingredients for a MUNer! Can’t wait to meet you all in St. Gallen this December for an unparalleled MUN experience!💚

USG of Delegates & Organization

Nele Aulenbach

Hello everyone! 👋🏻

My name is Nele and I have the honour of being your USG of Delegates & Organisation for SGMUN 2024. Having grown up in beautiful Bavaria, I am currently pursuing a double degree Masters in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Konstanz and Charles University in Prague.☺️

My own MUN journey began about 6 years ago when I joined my high school’s MUN society in Indianapolis, as I was fascinated by the thrilling stories about conferences my friends had told me. Ever since then, I have collected many unique experiences and met amazing people at the conferences and events I have attended.✨

Besides MUN and my studies, I am a huge bookworm📚 and lover of music, who can always be convinced to bring her guitar or join the next round of karaoke🎤🎶 Furthermore, I am a self-proclaimed WhatsApp Sticker Master and much of my communication consists of stickers that originated during various MUN conferences.🤭👀

I am very much looking forward to continuing the Concordia Bodamici Partnership by bringing my previous experiences of organizing conferences to SGMUN 2024 and being part of this amazing team!💚

USG Finance & Treasury

Quentin Cornuau-Plessis

Hey, I’m Quentin and I’ll be the USG of finance for this year’s conference. I’ll be brief since finance is as unexciting as it is necessary. While I would have loved to be a delegate at this conference, I guess you have to get your hands dirty for things to get done😉 Hopefully, If you don’t hear from me, it means everything went well and I didn’t mess up the budget :)

USG Accommodation & Volunteers

Jakob Schäfer

Hey there :)

My name is Jakob, I am in the 2nd semester of the Assessment Year and starting my Bachelor of Business Administration in September. As this year’s USG of Volunteers & Accommodations, I focus on providing a pleasant place to stay for all incoming participants and ensuring an organized execution of the conference. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and traveling the world.

USG of Marketing & Public Relations

Jaehyung Adrien Kim

안녕하세요🐈

I’m Adrien, who takes care of the promotion of this meaningful event, the image and the texture of the messages we want to convey to the public. Coming from Fribourg, I’m delighted and grateful to be part of this diverse team. I believe our conference will be an important step in the Swiss MUN scene and for European MUNers interaction.

I carry economics books but hold a bigger passion for fashion, music, and literature. Between uni studies and MUN duties, I spend time reading press articles, rewatching any Pheobe Waller-Bridge production, and thinking about what to cook the next week.

As I take this USG job seriously in Captain Dorka’s ship, my responsibilities also extend to harnessing public attention to memorable MUN experiences till the end of the conference. I await your valuable feedback on every aspect of our conference and remain at your disposal till the Captain dismisses me🐾

USG Sponsoring & Fundraising

Max Frederic Dittmann

Hello everyone,

My name is Max, the Under Secretary General of Sponsoring and Partnerships. I am a 20 year old german studying Economics at the University of St.Gallen. My first encounter with MUN was rather recent, however I am very much looking forward to the organization of the MUN. Apart from MUN I am playing Basketball, going sailing, and doing ballroom dancing. Fun Fact about me: even though I love learning languages on Duolingo, I could not understand a word of Schwiizerdütsch (swiss dialect) when I arrived.

See you all in December

USG Socials & Entertainment

Leo di Lucio

Hello everyone,

My name is Leo, the USG of Socials for this year’s SGMUN conference, and responsible for you having a good time after the debates. I am currently an economics student at the University of St.Gallen with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs. I have been engaged with MUN for some years and looking forward to reviving the SGMUN conference this year.

See you in December!

USG of Logistics & Catering

Khalil Aouani Cherif

Hello there,

I am Khalil Aouani Cherif, the USG of Logistics at St. Gallen MUN. Currently completing a Corporate Finance Master at HSG, I am an advocate for international diplomacy and collaboration. I always prioritize diplomatic finesse, of course unless it’s over the last slice of pizza. I am generally serious about global issues, but I believe every good negotiation should include some jokes and satire. In my free time, I like to do whatever you propose.

Can't wait to see you in St Gallen!
