Mary Absawi

Hola, angels! It’s Mary. I'm a 21 year old who comes from a small town in northern Israel called Isfiya but currently living in TLV since I study Communications and Arts at Tel Aviv University.

Last year I joined @TAUMUN, and became hooked on the richness of the program; both socially and academically which led to my most memorable moment: my society elected me to serve as Head of Operations for next year’s journey. Full story on my LinkedIn @maryabsawy

I am chairing the most extraordinary committee on-board which is the International Press Corps. Us, communication students, call the media the 4th power because of its capacity to frame political issues and psychologically affect the people. So I think it is important but also very fun to have press that cover what is happening during the conference. Seat belts on, we are ready to take your brain on a mad journey.

Swipe to enjoy me enjoying art. And you can visit my instagram page but there is nothing to look at there @maryabsawi

Yours always,
Mary

Marc Zabel

Hey there!

My name is Marc Zabel, and I’ll be one of your committee directors for the International Press Corps. I’m currently studying Political Science with a minor in Economics at the University of Mannheim in Germany. My MUN journey began just last year in September when I joined my university’s MUN society, and I’ve since then met amazing new people, had some of the funniest moments in my life, and made some incredible friends. I’ve also become more involved within the society, becoming its President in May. I’m very excited for the opportunity to be chairing the IPC committee, due to its spontaneity, creativity, the fact that (in my humble opinion) it's the most fun committee, and because the importance of journalism should not be understated, but should instead thrive and be as free as possible.

Man sieht sich ;)
