COP27 Chairs

Paul O’Brien

E schéinen gudde Moie, my name is Paul and I will be one of the COP27 chairs!

I’m a Luxembourgish/Irish student studying mathematics and political sciences at the University of Freiburg and am really looking forward to meeting you all in St. Gallen. Whether it has been fighting for human rights in the UNHRC or planning assassinations in the crisis committee, I have many fond MUN memories and am hoping to add to that list in December.

I have no doubt that COP27 will provide for much discussion and plenty of disagreements as we find out what creative plans our delegates will bring to the table to fight some of the most pressing issues we currently face.

Until then, Slán agus beannacht!

Jonas Vandenbergh

My name is Jonas Vandenbergh and I am an international relations and diplomacy student, currently studying at the ETH and UZH. I have a background in Law and Medicine and love to learn and discuss about different negotiation tactics and the psychology behind it. In MUN, I love to find lively debate, fun socials and long-lasting friendships. I started my MUN journey in Belgium and have seen several countries because of it.

I’m extremely excited to chair SGMUN with Greetje and Paul and to see you all soon!

Greetje Krüger

Hejjjj,
my name is Greetje Krüger and I have the pleasure of being one of your chairs for COP27. This is my first time chairing.
I am currently studying political science at the University of Mannheim. During my 4 years in the MUN society there, I have served on the board for 3 years in different positions.
One of my favorite MUN memories was organizing Mamun 2022, especially the diplomatic ball and the Schneckenhofparty since I was USG of Socials.
I am looking forward to meeting you all!

Greetje💙
