Dear MUNers around the world,

At St. Gallen Model United Nations, we believe in the power of dialogue across cultures, disciplines, and perspectives. Our world is complex – and so are the challenges we face. That’s why we bring together students from around the globe to think critically, debate openly, and grow together.

SGMUN is more than a conference. It’s a space to question, to connect, and to lead – inside and outside the committee room.

Whether it’s your first MUN or your tenth, we invite you to be part of a community that values curiosity, responsibility, and impact.

Join us in St. Gallen from 20 to 23 November 2025 and help shape the future of diplomacy.

At SGMUN 2025, our motto reflects the core values that guide how we work together – before, during, and beyond the conference.

United in Dialogue expresses our belief that meaningful diplomacy begins with listening and understanding. We may come from different backgrounds, but dialogue allows us to build bridges and work through complex issues together.

Empowered by Responsibility reminds us that participation in global conversations comes with accountability. As students engaging with political, social and economic questions, we recognize the importance of being informed, respectful, and proactive.

Dedicated to Impact stands for our intention to make this experience matter. Whether it’s through new perspectives, stronger skills, or lasting connections – we want SGMUN to leave something behind.

This year’s motto isn’t just a slogan – it’s a shared approach to how we engage with each other and the world around us.

What can you expect?

SGMUN is more than committee sessions and speeches. It’s a space where students from around the world come together to exchange ideas, explore new perspectives, and build lasting connections – both in and outside the conference room.

Over the course of four days, delegates participate in carefully moderated debates, attend thought-provoking events, and get to know each other through a diverse social program. From our traditional Raclette Dinner to the Gala Night, we aim to create an atmosphere that is both intellectually stimulating and personally meaningful.

We want every participant to leave St. Gallen not only with new knowledge, but with a sense of connection, motivation, and shared purpose.
