Secretary General

Cédric Schad is a Swiss-German Bachelor Student of Law at the University of St. Gallen.
From a very young age, he had the chance of travelling and experiencing different cultures, languages and religions.

Besides travelling, he loves playing music, and doing mountain sports.

He joined the MUN club in 2018 to engage in a platform with likeminded students, as well as to be part of an incredible international experience. He is committed to provide you with four incredible days in St. Gallen and cannot wait to meet you in November.

Deputy Secretary General

Lorenzo Tanzi is a Swiss-Italian student at the University of St. Gallen. After graduating from grammar school in the South of Switzerland he decided to broaden his horizons with a gap year. He had an experience in the Swiss Aircraft and spent a few months in Dublin and Leipzig for language studies.

He is very fascinated by languages, cultures, philosophical problems and international affairs. Since MUN incorporates these four fields, he could not ignore the opportunity of joining the big MUN family, and is part of it, since the very beginning of his first university year. There are several things that he loves about it, but probably the most important one is the diversity of the amazing people that one encounters at conferences. He is therefore giving his best to make that encounter as smooth as possible, and looks forward to meeting you all in St. Gallen

USG of Chairs & Delegates

Nadine Keller is a 21-year-old student of International Affairs in her first year at the University of St. Gallen.

Despite being entirely Swiss, she was partially raised in England and has also worked in Paris and Milan for two years after high school.

As the eldest of four siblings she already grew up as an informal mediator. But it was her keen interest in debating, foreign languages and current affairs that led her to join SGMUN immediately after entering university.

She gained her first conference experience at the SGMUN Conference 2018. Now she is looking forward to recreating the welcoming, yet challenging atmosphere for both beginners and experts she experienced last year.

Usg of Chairs & Delegates

Manuel J. Constam is a second year Law student at the University of St. Gallen.

He has loved MUN from day one, or at least from the day he has found out that one can give debates an ultra-sarcastic twist, and has been an enthusiast ever since. Besides MUN debating and chairing, Manuel loves to read, discuss politics in heated debate, train his rhetoric skills, listen to opera, get frustrated at today’s news and play his beloved piano.

JacquelineKha.jpg

USG of Socials

Jacqueline Kha is a student at the University of St. Gallen, currently studying International Affairs in her fourth semester.

Born in St. Gallen, with Chinese roots, she grew up in a multicultural environment and can thus speak several languages. Besides her studies and SGMUN, she loves to play tennis and squash and is passionate about art and art history.

As she is very interested in current affairs, politics and fascinated about the diversity of cultures, she joined SGMUN in her third semester, which she has been enjoying ever since. She is now thrilled to meet and welcome you in St. Gallen and aims to do her best to provide you with memorable social events!

USG of Finance

Lars Bauert is a second year International Affairs student at the University of St. Gallen.

Although he grew up and went to high school in Zurich, he ultimately chose St. Gallen as a place to study and he fell in love with the city ever since.

His interests in international and national politcs led him to the MUN society. Debating and discussing important issues gives him a lot of joy.

Apart from MUN he enjoys doing various sports like football, tennis and skiing.
Lars is looking forward to give all of you an amazing and affordable experience with memories you’ll never forget!

USG of Sponsoring

Niklas was raised and went to school in St. Gallen. As he is friendly and open-minded he loves to interact and communicate with people.

After taking a gap year, during which he stayed in Barcelona, London and Namibia, he decided to study International Affairs at the University of St. Gallen.

Through his best friend he discovered his passion for Model United Nations and is therefore incredibly excited to organise the MUN conference in St. Gallen.

His mission as USG of Sponsoring is to promote the Conference and find attractive partners in order to give you an unforgettable and affordable experience.

TheresaBerz.jpg

USG of Marketing

Theresa Berz is a German International Affairs student who would be described by her friends as outgoing, energetic and good-hearted.

Ever since she entered the MUN world, she has become more and more passionate about debating, eagerly attending the weekly debates and went to the Harvard World MUN2019 in Madrid earlier this year.

Her interests range from playing rugby, to ancient history and feel free to chat her up in Ancient Greek! Throughout this year’s SGMUN Conference you will most likely find her trying to capture the perfect shot, contemplating about witty Instagram captions and impressing everyone with her talent for catching popcorn in her mouth!

FilippoBörner.jpg

USG Of Logistics

Filippo Börner is a Business Administration student at the University of St. Gallen.

He discovered his MUN hobby while he was in boarding school and aimed at pursuing it also at university. Interested in modern history, politics and philosophy, he is a passionate debater and enjoys any conversation, not shying away from any controversies.

If you see him around do not be afraid of asking him where Fischer went wrong in his thesis about World War I, why fake news are no reason for limiting freedom of speech and why there is a technocracy problem in today’s democracies.
